Last nite a had this vivid dream, and no it's not about porn.
I dreamt I went to a gig last nite, yeah, read it again, I went to a gig. Shessh, my last gig was 1999, that was before the y2k bug hits (or not, depends on your perspective). Dr M was still our PM, and we still using 56k modem to surf the net. I even crowdsurfing from the stage, but what does it means Dr.?
Is it because I'm gonna hit the big three oh this year? Oh my.
But still, brings a lot of memories though, I remember this particular gig (not the last one), Spiral Kinetic Circus was playing, I was at the top floor looking down at the moshpit, all my friends all jumps their hearts out and there I was trying to understand what was Fathul singing about and Ken, whoah! this guy knows his guitar. That day Ajin was on drum, and my thought was, hey that guy is from backrose. Hahaha. Cool. There was this girl taking pictures while at the same time tries her hardest not to touch any of the crazies jumping around, had a bit of chuckle there.
After that, there was this hardcore group, my god I forgot their name, but they had raw energy, spirits and enthusiasm. Wish I still had those today. Next came this chinese band, but by that time all those kids starting to moved away, I don't know whether they pick the wrong crowd or the kids just don't understands them although they does sings in english. That band sounds a bit like Radiohead during The Bends era. At least their soundman and his girlfriend was there to support them.
Of course during that time, the underground scene, (yes, we called it underground, not indie during that time) wasn't as majmuk as today. Maybe that was also a reason nobody watch that Chinese band, cos all the kids are Malay? I'm not sure, what I know I had a blast that day, even if I looked like I didn't.
Ah, youth! To be full of energy, stupid and reckless again.
Ah! age is just a numbers, I can still be stupid and reckless.
Okay, here's the deal, it's 1.12 am (malaysia time), I can't sleep, there's nothing good on tv, and my tummy hurt. Badly.
It seems like Special Beef Burger + Egg Banjo + Black Coffee = Not a good combination for dinner.
I've been to the toilet 3 times. Not a pretty sight. Okay, I've learned my lesson, can we moved on?
Wow!, it's 2009 already? Man that was fast. (No, that's not a sexual innuendo)
I was so caught up in the moment I now have about 8 resolution for this new year.
Imagine that, 8, even last year's was not so successful. Last year I made 2 and done 1. That's 50% success rate.
If I was a surgeon I would have killed half of my patient, if I was a banker I'd lost half of my clients money, if I was a, okay I think you got my point.
I believe I got the dreaded narcissistic blogger disease. That's when you write your blog as if there are people who reads them. HellowwwWWWWWww! see, there's only echo.
It's New Year's Eve! How are you celebrating tonight?
By posting up these lists! hahaha. I really have no life.

If you have something to say, do it now. I don't want to have you
sobbing on my grave because that's the time when it hit you that I am
a) meaningful to you,
b) I owe you something,
c) I have answers to the world's toughest questions,
d) the person you've been waiting all your life.
From Wordsmanifest of The Rebel Scum:
We just got back from soundcheck at Cap Square, and shit looks really good. The stage reminds me of the mobile stage Musiccanteen used to roll out for their shows, only bigger and generally doper. The sound's going to be clear as fizzuck. Zee Avi (Kokokaina), Stylustiks, Joe Flizzow, Yuna, Goldfish and Arabyrd will be up on stage all damn day from 2pm onwards, and there's a ton of shit for you to do and buy too. Oh yeah TRS will get on at 9pm, and we'll have Figure of Speech from The Works and SSK with us.
Did I tell you shit is free? Tak. Payah. Bayar.
Be there or die.
